SOLUTION

What went well for you in the simulation?

During the last week iHuman’s simulation, some things went well for me. I was nervous at first but I calmed down and did what I was supposed to do. Some of the things that went well for me include asking relevant and important questions. I only missed a few key questions. I felt knowledgeable and confident in asking orientation questions and performing the nursing tasks such as washing hands, and closing the curtain for privacy. I also felt confident in reading and interpreting the patient’s lab results. For example, I was able to read her lab results and found that she had a high level of Bacteriuria. During the physical assessment, I was able to use the sphygmomanometer for manual readings of the patient’s BP. I found the scenario to be realistic.
