To achieve the set objectives, any healthcare facility has to implement the 4 main management roles, which include planning, organizing, directing, as well as controlling (Kirchner et al., 2012). At the hospital setting there are various groups of professionals such as nurses, physicians, therapists, and other related staff members who operate from a central location within the healthcare, and this aspect makes it easier for the management team.

Planning

The managers are responsible for planning by assessing the current situation of the hospital and establishing relevant plans that aim on the future of the healthcare facility. In the facility that I work for, the administration makes use of strategic planning method in planning ahead so as to avoid potential challenges. The managers plan in advance for cases of emergencies and make relevant arrangements to ensure that casualties are handled effectively, hence ensuring smooth operations at the hospital.

Leading
