SOLUTION

Interest groups are mainly an association of like-minded people with the intention of influencing public policy. Therefore, lobbyists as a tool for special interest group has multiple pros and cons.  One of the major pros of lobbying in relation to the special interest groups is that it creates appropriate ways of controlling the majority’s power (Spacey, 2021). In this case, lobbying aids in the reduction of the effect that may be caused to the society when the majority of the individuals in the governing position took the central role in legalizing anything they desire without considering the wellbeing of others. Besides, lobbyists aid in the creation of positive relationships between society and elected officials. This idea implies that politicians should always consider the needs and interests of their community and address them appropriately. Please click the purchase button to access the entire copy at $5
